Over 20 years ago, I was fortunate to see one of the most influential perfomers of the 20th Century, Francis Albert Sinatra. I had seen Frank perform before, but this time, I sat only 3 metres away from him. Across from me in the audience was the wonderful performer and Rat Pack member, Sammy Davis Junior and on stage was the Buddy Rich Orchestra. I was in for a real Master Class. Then a voice said, "Ladies and gentlemen, from here on in it's Frank Sinatra!"
I knew right there and then that at some point in the future I would recreate these incredible Sinatra concerts, and in the same spirit and character as Ol' Blue Eyes himself.
