17th April 2009: "Capitol Big Band ... Swing Time"
I was asked to be the guest vocalist with the West Coast Capitol Big Band at the Arts Guild Theatre in Greenock. It was a really great night and the band really did swing.

26th March 2009: "Frank Holden returns by popular demand!"
As promised, we returned to the East Kilbride Village Theatre, (and happily, again to a full house), with my Big Sinatra Band. I had written a section into the programme for the Band to play classics from the American Song Book including Count Basie's "All Of Me" and "Sing, Sing, Sing".
This was my first live performance of "Please Be Kind" and I am glad to say I remembered all the words! The Band was conducted by Derek Williams.

2nd November 2008: "The Vows Awards"
(Voted Outstanding Wedding Supplier)
Frank's 'Sinatra Quartet' was chosen to supply his unique "Sinatra Swing" at this year's five-star, red-carpet event in the Glasgow Hilton Hotel. This is the country's top Scottish wedding industry awards show.
VOWS Report
"Sunday 2nd November saw the culmination of another fantastic year for VOWS as over 550 people gathered to celebrate with the nominees and winners at the Hilton Glasgow Hotel. The hosts for the evening, Ant & Dick (from Wedding TV fame), presented the awards in 20 categories after a fantastic opening set by Frank Holden Interprets Sinatra. Guests partied into the wee small hours of the morning - in true Scottish wedding industry style."

18th October 2008: "Biggar Annual Charity Ball"
Once again, a wonderfully successful Black Tie evening at this year's Biggar Annual Charity Ball (Rotary Club). Thousands of pounds raised for deserving charities, so very satisfying to be part of that. I was asked to write into the programme a selection of Glenn Miller tunes and music also from Count Basie and Artie Shaw, etc., and this was extremely well received. A great night was had by all.

15th August 2008: "Frank Holden Live In Concert"
East Kilbride Show
Frank and crew returned to the Village Theatre in East Kilbride with his Sinatra Big Swing Band. A capacity house enjoyed the Sinatra favourites, and all your wonderful special requests. A truly great night, and watch this space, because Frank promised he will bring the band back!

‘Ol’ Blue Eyes’ is back in show tribute to Sinatra
By Shona Mitchell
Ol Blue Eyes is back…
Award-winning Sinatra vocalist Frank Holden returns to the East Kilbride Village Theatre with his hugely successful sell-out show.
Frank Holden is among the lucky few who have actually seen Sinatra live in concert.
His attention to detail is second to none and his Sinatra presentation is outstanding.
This is a night no true Sinatra fan will want to miss!
Frank takes you on a tour of Sinatra classics such as Fly Me to the Moon, My Way, New York New York and many more.
Frank is live on stage with a 14-piece Sinatra Swing Band and all dressed to impress in Sinatra’s trademark tuxedo.
The award-winning Sinatra vocalist has taken his show all over the United Kingdom and, after one show, the Frank Sinatra Appreciation Society remarked: “Ol’ Blue Eyes would be proud of you.”
The first half of the show features Frank and the 14-piece big band while the second half sees Frank sing Sinatra with a quartet before some more big band tunes finish the show.
Frank Holden, of Glasgow, said this week: “I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Sinatra live three times, so I’ve written and produced my show based on this.
“What makes my show a little different is the amount of audience interaction. I encourage people coming to my show to email me requests for songs which mean something to them and I will dedicate it to them on the night.
“So far, I’ve already had three requests for the East Kilbride show.
“Sometimes it’s because a song reminds them of their father or maybe it’s their wedding song.
“I like to keep my show fresh and this helps.
“Sinatra was a great performer and could think on his feet so I do try to do a little of that to keep things interesting.”
Frank spends 98 per cent of his time at work singing at weddings up and down the country so enjoys the opportunity to perform for a crowd of Sinatra fans in venues such as the Village Theatre.
In fact, Frank likes to perform here so much that this show will be his tenth in eight years.
Almost all of his previous shows have sold out.

1st Jan 2006: "By Special Request"
People
have asked me to cover songs by other artists and to this end I've put
together a selection of arrangements from the talents of Bobby Darren,
Elvis Presley, Dean Martin and Tony Bennett to name but a few and here's
the interesting bit! All arranged and performed in the "swing style
of Sinatra" - now that's a first! And if Ol' Blue eyes were here,
I'm sure he would approve.
